ABOUT FUERTEVENTURA
Fuerteventura is the closest Canary Island to the African Coast; and the oldest of the Canary Islands, Fuerteventura like all the Canary Islands is volcanic, the last eruption was some 7000 years ago, Mount Tindaya was considered to be a sacred place and carvings of feet (said to ward off evil spirits) can still be seen today on the rock.
